The show features colorful and diverse works in paint, chalk, fabric, glass, upcycled materials, and mixed media by Bethany Bachmann, Cindy Coleman, Janet Kenna, Amanda Preston Araujo, Jenny Treanor, and Amy Vaclav.

It is a vastly diverse and widely dispersed clan of clinicians, activists, artisans and home medicine makers holding close to those they sense are their "people." Announcing: Smithsonian's Museum on Main Street (MoMS) exhibit: Crossroads: "Change in Rural America" a Colorado Humanities tour, is coming to Ignacio!   We invite you to participate in this FREE and interactive exhibit for all ages! Come reflect on Ignacio's history while finding out how you connect to your community with events and programs designed to complement the Smithsonian exhibition.   Free Events include:  Monday, April 29th, 10:00am: Grand opening and ribbon cutting.  Thursday, May 9th, 5:00-6:00 pm: Ties to Land and place.  Friday, May 17th, 1:00-2:00 pm: Community Celebrations and Traditions   Tuesday, May 21st, 5:00-6:00 pm: Ignacio's past, present, and future.  Friday, May 31st, 5:00-7:00 pm: Grand finale event: "Voices, Views, and Visions."   See you there!

Join us for "Sourcing Local Food For Your Business," a free workshop where you can connect with local farmers, learn how to navigate the local food procurement landscape, and hear from fellow entrepreneurs who are doing this successfully. Elevate your business with locally-sourced goods, support your community, and savor the flavors of local entrepreneurship!   Please register in advance. Stipends available to cover the cost of travel, childcare, or whatever you may need to help you get there. Spanish interpretation will be offered.
