Join us during Durango's annual community Holiday Party on December 6th as we welcome fine art equine photographer Tony Stromberg to the gallery with a one-man show. Tony will be in attendance from 5-7pm to answer questions about his work and inspiration, as well as sign copies of his book, “Horse Medicine.” The show continues daily through the holiday season, closing on December 31.

Ride the regular Cascade Canyon Train but come prepared to cut your own Christmas Tree to be hauled back to Durango on the steam train! Maybe this will be a romantic couples day to choose your first Christmas tree together. Maybe a Family Day with mittens and hot chocolate for everyone!

Every December Studio & Gallery hosts the Bizarre Bazaar, which is a cross between a holiday bazaar and a Turkish bazaar. We fill our space with 16 local artists who are selling their creations. The Bizarre Bazaar is a great place to buy unique gifts directly from the people who made them.

Join us for our youth program's end-of-year performance, where we will have a fun silent auction, a delicious catered meal by Durangourmet, and great performances by all our after-school youth bands!

Get your Christmas gifts wrapped for FREE this season in Downtown Durango. Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1; Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15; and Saturday December 21 and Sunday December 22, from noon to 3 pm at the Strater Hotel lobby.   Gift wrapping is in an old fashioned style, with brown paper and string, and then each gift is stamped with the Christmas Town stamp.    Brought to you by the BID and the Strater Hotel.

When Oliver's intended mark, Mr. Brownlow, takes pity on the lad and offers him a home, Fagin's henchman Bill Sikes plots to kidnap the boy to keep him from talking.
