Durango New to Town Group - River Walk & Picnic
12:00pm / Rotary Park
Are you new to the town of Durango? Craving some social interaction after a year of hermit life? Then, please join the Durango New to Town group for our first spring event. ???? We'd love to see you.    We'll meet at the yellow gazebo in rotary park. We will then do a ~30 minute walk by the river on a paved trail to a location where we can sit and have a picnic. Please bring your own food and a blanket if you like. We will have (easy) conversation prompts so that we can get to know each other better.   We STRONGLY, STRONGLY recommend that you be VACCINATED before attending any events with Durango New to Town. By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. You are also agreeing to respectfully abide by the health & safety recommendations put forth by the CDC. Our organization does not have the resources or professional skills to protect group members from the risks of COVID or other risks that may arise from our activities. You alone are responsible for your own well being.   The mission of this group is to grow a welcoming, healthy community in Durango so that people can make new friends. That is especially true after COVID! We care about community!
