Raft and Golf Spring Raffles

Two spring raffles available now: Explore the outdoors with your own Alpacka Raft or bring your friends to play golf at the scenic Dalton Ranch. For only $10 a ticket, the $595-value packraft or the $500-value golf package can be yours! 5 tickets for only $40. And remember, by purchasing tickets you directly support the Conservancy’s work to protect Southwest Colorado's open landscapes.    Raffle tickets are available on the Conservancy’s website until May 7, 10 AM. FLC Theatre Presents 'Diverse Voices'

Fort Lewis College Music and Theatre Departments present “Diverse Voices” live streamed April 23 and 24 at 7:30pm! A recorded version will also stream April 26 – 30 any time.    First to be presented is the 1904 operetta CENDRILLON, a charming rendition of the classic fairy tale CINDERELLA. Then “Musical Scenes of Diversity and Inclusion”. From race to gender, sexual orientation to religion, these musical scenes will explore stories from 12 Broadway musicals that helped pave the way to a more inclusive stage. 7 Rivers Farmers Market

We are excited to announce the 2nd season of the 7 Rivers Farmers Market. It will be held every Tuesday from 12-3 at the La Plata Fairgrounds. Market starts November 3rd and goes thru April 27th. We have an amazing assortment of local farmers with poultry, pork, beef, salad greens, tomatoes, peppers, goats milk cheese, eggs, jams and pickles, honey, herbs, baked good, lotion bars, jewelry, energy bars, soaps and So much more. San Juan Science Ramblers After School

Too much screen time? Get your kids outside with SJMA’s new after-school program, the San Juan Science Ramblers.   Kids, grades 1 – 6, will be led on after school science- based hiking adventures with our amazing education staff and volunteers. The number of kids will be limited to 13 per session. This a great option for kids who love nature and science. Each month will have a theme focused on outdoor exploration and learning.
Art Lab

Ages 6-12years  Tuition: $180  Instructor: Kate Nickols  All state mandated COVID protocols will be followed.   This class will be a fun experimentation and exploration of all art medium! We will use a variety of mediums such as colored pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, found objects and much more! Students will create a collection of unique art pieces to take home each week.   Class is limited to a maximum of 6 students!
The Durango Choral Society Presents: Around the World, A Virtual Musical Tour

Around the World with the Durango Choral Society will treat you to never before seen or heard audio and video performance and rehearsal footage from our concert tours to far flung places, including Zagreb, Salzburg, Prague, Greece, and Hawaii as well as Santa Fe, Cincinnati, Telluride, and Carnegie Hall. This virtual event will offer you an inside look at our many adventures with performance videos in spectacular locations, photos, and commentary by Linda Mack Berven, PLUS performances of international music by our Women’s and Youth Choirs.
