Scenic Round Trip Silverton Train
8:00am / Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad
Embark on an Incredible Journey Through the San Juan Mountains!   For a truly unforgettable step back in time, enjoy a leisurely trip to yesteryear riding 3 1/2 hours each way on this steam train plus spend 2 hours in the historic mining town of Silverton to enjoy the sights, shopping, food, and libations that Silverton offers. We’ve been in continuous operation running train excursions on this 45-mile spur of the Denver & Rio Grande rail line since 1882. Much of the scenery remains unchanged since then. There’s no cell service or Wi-Fi through much of the terrain so you’ll be unplugged from the modern world. Soak in the views, listen as the steam whistle echoes through the canyon, hear the vintage locomotive work to pull the train up the grades. If you long to unwind and enjoy Colorado nature at its finest, this is the trip for you.

Animas City Night Bazaar
5:00pm / Oktoberfest at Union Social House
Oktoberfest Bazaar!   Last year, we had a roaring success with our pivot to a "Passeggiata” neighborhood stroll model. Hundreds of community members came out of hibernation to enjoy an outdoor Animas City promenade, filled with “bizarre" phenomena such as busking musicians, wild circus performances, fire spinners, pop-up art, flash mob dances, roving goats and horses, hidden prizes from local artists and North Main District businesses, and much more.   More details to come.
Live music with Dustin burley
5:00pm / Fur Trappers Steakhouse and Bar
Great deals on food and drinks for Dustin Burleys live performance on our spacious patio!
HOA Education: New HOA Laws on Signs, Flags, Solar Panels & More
5:30pm / ONLINE (Via Zoom)
Calling all HOA Board Members and Managers!   Please plan on attending our free online class on the latest in Colorado HOA legislation.   You've probably heard about HB1229 and 1310? These new bills just became law on September 7th. They cover signs, flags, new records requirements (and potential penalties for noncompliance), solar panels, and artificial turf.    We will be explaining both bills in detail (as well as other relevant case law/legislation), so you know how to comply.    Plus, we'll briefly go over how to interpret your governing documents, to make it easier for you when faced with ambiguous and confusing provisions.   PLEASE REGISTER AT: https://bit.ly/3nx7cWL (a link will be provided upon registration).   QUESTIONS? Email Melissa Garcia at mgarcia@altitude.law with any questions.   We hope to see you there!
