Lost Wax Casting

In this 2-day evening workshop you will make your own design in wax, learn how to create the mold, fire it, and then cast it using centrifugal casting. Last but not least you get to polish and complete your own design. Class provides all material including silver. You are welcome to use other metals as well.    Class fee is $175. 6:00pm and 9:00pm   The iNDIGO Room is a small intimate venue located inside of the iAM MUSIC Institute in the heart of Downtown Durango across main street from Buckley Park. These small house concert style shows provide a concert experience that allows the crowd and artist to interact in a way that feels like they are performing in your own living room.   The artists:  [Sean Farley]  Sean Farley is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and guitar maker from Williamsport, PA. Farley travels the country as a solo acoustic looping artist. His mix of blues, soul, and Americana music sets a nice mood anywhere. With his seamless live looping, the term "one-man band" takes on a new meaning. A listener will enjoy deep rhythms, lush melodies and tones, tasty guitar licks, and a soulful voice.
