Great opportunity to support your local veterans while enjoying a delicious breakfast! Open to the public, this event is held every 1st & 3rd Sunday.    Donations of only $8 for adults, $7 for veterans, and $5 for kids 12 and under. All proceeds help support local veterans!
Cascade Canyon Winter Train

Departing from the Durango Depot, this train trip takes you up into the Rocky Mountains with incredible views of the San Juan National Forest as you travel alongside the beautiful Animas River while relaxing in heated coaches. Cascade Canyon is a destination like no other and is the perfect setting for a fire-side lunch, photo opportunities or a walk along the Animas River during your 60-minute layover.
Durango Conscious Dance Outside

Free-form conscious dance classes, by Julie Gentry, Certified Soul Motion® Facilitator, two Sunday mornings each month on the big back lawn at the Smiley Building in Durango. Come play, move, be…alone, with each other, with the ground, the trees, the mountains, the birds, the breeze and the sky.   These classes are "silent disco" style with provided headphones. Limited to 15 participants. No dance experience necessary.   Sliding scale: $10-$15

School House Rock Live! Jr and The Noble Gnarble

Based on the ever-popular, award-winning 1970s cartoons, this fast-paced musical teaches lessons with clever, catchy tunes.   Join the Durango Youth Theatre Jr. Company for their presentation of "The Noble Gnarble"!   Far below the ocean waves, a gnarble left his cozy bed along the ocean floor and headed to the surface for a glimpse of sun and sky. Though he can't swim far with little fins and floppy tails, his mind would not be changed by fish who tried to make him stay. Did he quit when he discovered all the creatures in his way?
