SJMA After-School Science Ramblers

Get your kids outside with SJMA's after-school program, the San Juan Science Ramblers!   Kids, grades 1-6, will be led on after school science-based hiking adventures with our amazing education staff and volunteers on trails around Durango. Spring programming will include month-long sessions in April and May that run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The number of kids will be limited to 13 per session. This is a great option for kids who love nature and science. Volunteer Open House

Adaptive Sports Association (ASA) is hosting a summer Volunteer Open House. ASA is a Durango-based non-profit sports and recreation outfitter for people with disabilities. Volunteers are needed to assist with daily programming including whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, camping, rock climbing, and more. Please stop by the open house to learn more about the opportunities as a volunteer.    No RSVP is required. We are proud to be performing our Nationally Touring WWII Style Vintage Variety & Burlesque Show at VFW Post 4031 in Durango, CO!    Doors 6pm | Show 7pm Featuring: Sassifrass, Pin Up Julia,    PIN-UPS ON TOUR is a good time for a great cause. From the moment guests enter the event, they will be treated to something special. Our goal is to recreate the magic of the Hollywood Canteen that operated during the 1940's as a club offering dancing, drinks and entertainment for servicemen, usually on their way overseas. The evening will feature dancing showgirls, Comedy, Variety Acts, Soulful Lounge singers, and more than a few surprises! With entertainment & atmosphere around every turn, guests will feel like they stepped into another era.   OUR COMMITMENT  PIN-UPS ON TOUR is committed to providing low or no-cost entertainment for Veterans as part of our Morale Boosting Mission.
