Adobe Lightroom Classic CC Intensive: Two Day Class offered by Future Light Digital in Durango, CO.>br>  Part 1: The first day covers the Library, Slideshow and Web modules. You will learn how to design a logical file structure, build an efficient backup system, create an easy-to-use naming structure, and use metadata to simplify tracking images from program to program. Integrate image management into your workflow using Adobe Lightroom Classic software and learn how to implement an advanced keyword system for tracking the content of your images.   Leverage the power of virtual Collections to organize your images. We will also cover the Slideshow and Web modules in greater detail, including the use of custom templates for unique and powerful automatic web design. Learn how to set up a web server to post your images online for personal or client review.   Part 2 : The second day covers the Raw conversion and editing tools and Print module. We focus on maximizing the quality of your images in the Develop module, with a detailed explanation of each tool set, including the new selective control with the Adjustment brush. Learn how to set-up batch processing, round-trip editing of images from Lightroom into Adobe Photoshop CC, and working with virtual copies of your original files.   Class meets from 10:00 - 4:00 pm., Fee $245  August 20 & 21, 2022 - Two full days!   Class meets either at the Future Light Digital studio at Elk Park, Durango, or the Durango Community Recreation Center depending on class size.   Bring your own laptop.

Learn to cut and polish a cabochon.   In this class you will learn how to operate a large slab saw. From the slab you will be able to cut out an oval blank which you will learn to grind to shape and polish. You will have created a stone that is ready to set in jewelry.   You will also learn how to drill a hole in a stone and how to make a matched pair of earrings out of rock.   Cost of the class is $80. Interested in stage acting? Come audition for the 10- Minute Play Festival! August 21st at 3 3 pm - 5 pm! There will be cold readings from the 2022 10- minute play script!   There are roles available for 5 women and 5 men, aged 20 and up, and on for a middle-school-aged child! So come on down to the Durango Center of the Arts!

Old West Cowboy Music Show and Chuckwagon Supper. Durango's favorite family entertainment since 1969. Bar D Wranglers perform in concert after supper with music and songs of old west cowboys, comedy, and lively instrumentals. The show is fun for the whole family.    Activities, shops, and ticketing open at 4:30. Supper is at 6:30. Open Memorial Day Weekend through September - Rain or Shine ! Reservations are required.
