The new Durango Sustainable Goods store in the Smiley Building (studio 12) is celebrating back to school with a weekly sustainable social event every Thursday in August and September. Bring the whole family and enjoy local tea, cookie, and ice-cream tastings, plus sustainable school product prizes and giveaways!

AH supports and empowers survivors of domestic violence. Alternative Horizons is currently looking for volunteer advocates, to staff our 24-Hour hotline, including those who are bi-lingual. This is a mobile opportunity. All you need is a phone and a private confidential space to take a call. Each session students will discover fun and different mediums and concepts while creating extremely unique art projects! This class will focus on designing, painting, sculpture and prop techniques with an emphasis on correct shading, values, textures, and color.   September- Odd and Unusual Theater Posters and props, October - Halloween Extreme, November and December - We will celebrate DAC's Theater Production by creating posters, paintings and theater sets!   Create and become involved with DAC Theater Production of "We Will Rock You!" Theater Tickets are included with the class price. The classes offer fun, non competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression.
