An on-line and in-person event demonstrating how your own yard, garden, and landscapes can change to adapt to or even to mitigate changing climate conditions. March 1-31 view 8 recorded presentations by leading horticultural experts. On March 16 listen to Colorado's most prominent horticulturist, Panayoti Kelaidis, director of outreach and senior curator of Denver Botanic Gardens present "Rethinking the Durangoscape: What will it take to honor our setting?"

The Art of Painting

Express yourself through painting and develop your artistic style in this inspiring class!
Come and join Durango Arts Center each week when a variety of Painting Artists will teach special techniques through different painting mediums!
Be exposed to a variety of tips, tricks and techniques used in creating masterpieces in watercolor, acrylic, oil paints, and pastels, while working with an experienced teacher to give you guidance along the way.
Beginners are welcome! This class is also perfect for students with previous painting experience or have taken this class before. 10 Classes, all supplies are included!

Ben Wendel Group

Ben Wendel Group features a cast of some of the great young players of today. Led by Grammy nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel with a varied career as a performer, composer, producer and conductor. Highlights include multiple domestic and international tours with artists such as Ignacio Berroa, Tigran Hamasyan, Gerald Clayton, Eric Harland, Taylor Eigsti, Snoop Dogg and the late Prince.
