The Incubator for Emerging Artists presents "What Inkling This Time?" an exploration of the mixed media creations by Durango artist, Toni George. George's compelling artworks, drawn from her two distinct series, "Patterns Within" and "Woven Tales," encapsulate the essence of intricate narratives woven within the fabric of her artistic vision.   Having spent 16 years in Taos, where her work was showcased at Las Comadres Women's Cooperative, George brings a wealth of experience and insight to her creative process. Her transition to Durango has unveiled a new chapter, breathing fresh energy and perspective into her ethereal pieces, which now take center stage in this exclusive exhibition. Through an exciting fusion of diverse media and techniques, George invites viewers to immerse themselves in a tapestry of emotions and contemplation, where patterns become a metaphor for the subtle nuances of life itself.   This exhibition made possible by Durango Creative District and Stillwater Music.

7:30pm / Fort Lewis College Mainstage
To celebrate the end of the Halloween season, FLC Musical Theatre will present the Off-Broadway hit, Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe. Nevermore follows the struggles of one of America's most famous poets and authors as he faces abandonment, addiction, poverty, and significant loss, all of which contribute to the composing of some of American literature's greatest works. The book, lyrics, and music for Nevermore are by Jonathan Christenson, who harkens to numerous Poe works, including the iconic poem "The Raven." The theatricality and wide variety of musical styles teamed with the storytelling through metered verse and movement will be an experience you will not soon forget.
