WHY BE GOOD? (Warner Brothers, 1929)
Starring Colleen Moore
Released right at the end of the silent era, WHY BE GOOD? is one of the most thrilling feature films of the jazz age. Colleen Moore was the epitome of a flapper girl during the 1920s, which is demonstrated to great effect in the first half of this picture. After a night of debauchery, however, she discovers that she is in love with her boss. What kind of a girl is Pert Kelly? Watch WHY BE GOOD? on the big screen to find out.
