Lunch & Learn Workshop on How PR Can Help Your Business Reach a Wider Audience with Ryan Simonovich of Verde Brand Communications.   This lunch and learn workshop will teach you how public relations can be used to help your business reach a wider audience, both locally and nationally. Verde Brand Communications was founded in Durango and has more than 20 years of experience generating buzz around brands both large and small. We will present case studies from successful campaigns from local clients such as Tailwind Nutrition, Iron Horse Bicycle Classic, and Visit Durango.    Ryan Simonovich is a Fort Lewis College graduate who decided to make Durango his home thanks to the endless miles of singletrack and a passionate cycling community. Ryan has worked for Verde Brand Communications for two years after beginning his career in journalism. He loves to combine his passion for the outdoors with professional ambitions, which is easy when working for clients like Tailwind Nutrition, Visit Durango, and the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic.

Visiting the Art Gallery and all events are free and open to all ages.

Join us for Art Making Mania, where each class, students will create extremely unique and very expressive artwork! This class will focus on a variety of drawing, painting, sculpture and collage projects.   The Arts can improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork! At the Durango Art Center, you will find that here, where our classes offer fun, non competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression. The national theme for 2024 is "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion."   The Women's Resource Center has made a tradition of recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of local women at the annual Extraordinary Women Award dinner, which will be held this year on March 27, from 5:30-7:30pm, at the DoubleTree Hotel. Grief Service with Stillwater Music Cello Ensemble
