Featuring hundreds of wines, beers and spirits paired with light appetizers at multiple downtown Durango locations, the “Walk-About” is our signature, multi-location, tasting event. You will not only get a taste of wine, but a true taste of downtown Durango!   Tasting tables will be featured at some of our favorite Durango galleries, shops & outdoor spaces, all within a block or two of one another. Volunteers will be assigned to a team, and each team will be given a block to clean. Arrive at 8:30 am for coffee from Carvers, doughnuts from Albertsons, work gloves from Kroegers, and a Downtown Clean Day t-shirt courtesy of Black Bear Carpet Cleaning and Repair. Our Fly Fishing 201 class is based on the Orvis 201 Fly Fishing class.   Expand on your fly fishing knowledge with continued casting and presentation instruction, fly selection, gear, fishing the fly, hooking a fish, playing a fish, landing, and releasing fish.   This class is on the water and there is a $75 fee. All gear flies, rods, boots, and waders will be supplied but if you have your own, bring it!

It is advisable to bring your own materials and hand tools if you have them. The Club offers an excellent variety of motorized tools, hand tools, and even some rough stone you may use to hone new skills.    Drop-ins and new members welcome. Experience is not necessary, however it is strongly recommended that new members attend a Shop Orientation that is held at 9:00 on the first Saturday of every month.    Anyone is welcome to join the Four Corners Gem & Mineral Club!
