Paul “Bubba” Iudice (acoustic guitar) and Erik Nordstrom (telecaster) have been collaborating since 2006, dusting off some old songs while creating new music about drinking, driving, friends that have passed away, love, heartbreak, the good life, and the not-so-good life. Kelly Rogers adds lap-steel to the mix. Jim Belcher lays down the bass, and David Sachs provides tasty drum licks. Jim and Dave have been part of the Durango music scene for quite some time, and we are honored that they joined the band in the spring of 2019. This is music suitable for both a raucous Saturday night and the accompanying Sunday hangover.    https://www.farmingtonhill.com/home  https://www.farmingtonhill.com/audio  https://www.facebook.com/FarmingtonHill

Liver Down the River & The Buzz
9:00pm / Animas City Theatre
Liver Down the River  From the high mountain river-valley of Durango Colorado comes a six piece funk-adelic-grass band called Liver Down The River. The group has their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living. Since it's creation in 2012, the band has strived to have nothing but a good time. Their unique sound and high energy performances have lead them to share the stage with the likes of the Kitchen Dwellers, Head for the Hills, Gipsy Moon, WhiteWater Ramble, Tony Furtado, and Bill Nershi to name a few.   The band got it's start in 2012 when Patrick Storen and Emily Winter met and started playing music together. A few common fiddle tunes and Grateful Dead numbers later, the two were ready to perform. Searching for the missing link, they enlisted the help of funk master and bass player Derek Abt. In time, young "river ridin' flat-pickin" Dylan Ruckel joined on guitar and vocals. With the addition of drummer Carter Colia and banjo/keys and vocalist Tyler Rice, Liver Down the River was formed.   The music is a blend of original compositions and improvisational journeys that paint a picture for the listener. Each member brings their own inspirations and elements to the sound. From the high peaks of bluegrass, deepest pockets of the funk, and outer reaches of space, a unique genre of music is created. Inspiration comes from the band's collective adventures, lessons of growing older, the following of the soul, and the ability to keep on moving on.   The Buzz  The quintet, formed in Longmont, CO, is comprised of Methiah Miller (bass, vocals), Jason Flinn (guitar, vocals), Stephen Hardt (keys, organ), Carter Burgess (guitar), and Tom Nelson (drums). The Buzz is a gradual accumulation of like-minded artists with a common goal: to create an experience that "moves" the listener in one way or another, and to share that experience with as many people as possible, as a collective.   The Buzz has grown to find Denver as a second home frequenting Your Moms House and headlining Globe Hall as well as Moe's Original BBQ on South Broadway. In the spring of 2021, they also had the opportunity to show Telluride, Colorado their stuff outside of the Sheridan Opera House. The Buzz has been featured on Denver area stream Camera Jams, Flower Hour Podcast, and Longmont endeavor Can You Dig It podcast.   In December of 2020 the band put the final touches on its debut LP "Release the Bees" featuring re-recorded tracks from their debut EP as well as newer tunes. It also features a violin sit in from band friend Alex Tocco of Ghost Town Drifters. The album was recorded at The Keep studio in Denver. This album dropped in February of 2021.   Immediately following the album announcement the band was happy to welcome new drummer Tom Nelson to the band. Individually, the

"While I'm painting, I can recall the original experience that my composition is based on, letting that energy and my love for that animal hopefully inspire the viewer." Marvel Years & Maddy O'Neal, OMËGÅ
9:00pm / Animas City Theatre
Marvel Years Bio  Cory Wythe, the producer and guitarist better known as Marvel Years, has found a welcome place for himself within the increasingly popular glitch-hop / electro-soul dance music scene. In just a short period of time, his progression has become outright impossible to ignore. Much more than your average DJ/producer, Marvel Years incorporates electric guitar in his live performances. His approach to blending electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop. "Classic rock has been a huge influence on me," Wythe explains. "I love breathing new life into those older songs. I think that's a good medium for bringing new listeners into my music because they can relate to that stuff. I improvise (on live guitar) over a lot of my stuff."   Maddy O'Neal  With a sound that is ever-changing and coined 'signature,' Maddy O'Neal glows amongst her fellow artists across the globe and stands out of the pack as truly remarkable. And that is just where she sets her aim -- for being ordinary is not in her DNA. Growing up with two wildly creative parents set the tone for Maddy's life path, and soon her expression was formed by way of soulful melodic overtones, driven basslines, and glitched out hip hop grooves. "When you hear Maddy O'Neal, you know it's Maddy O'Neal" and the more you get to know her, the more you realize this is something different.   Maddy O'Neal has played Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, Summer Camp, Summer Meltdown, Red Rocks (x2) and many more. Her touring resume is long and accomplished by supporting such artists as Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, The Floozies, Cherub, SunSquabi, Manic Focus, Russ Liquid and so on.   OMËGÅ  Omega an emerging DJ in Durango, CO. She is life long believer in the power of dance music as a force to connect us with our essential nature and realize the oneness of all things. Unity: a way to bring people together through music, body movement and dance. Omega is most inspired and influenced by wide ranging genres of House, Tech House & Techno blended with world music to bring true commune with primal rhythm to the the audience. Her intention as a DJ is tell a story with music during each set that takes the listeners on a journey that can help them reset, release, and reconnect and feel at one with themselves each other and the universe.
