Stay Tuned is a photo series by local artist Benjamin Dukeminier, a lifelong practitioner of conceptual surrealism whose work seeks to provoke reflection and inquiry into the human experience. Initiated in 2018, this project represents an ongoing look into memory, technology, and the enduring traces of human existence.
In the series, "the observers" roam through abandoned spaces filled with forgotten belongings and decaying objects, searching for meaning and piecing together the story of lives once lived. Blurring the line between archeology and performance, these human-like figures become both alien interpreters and mirrors of ourselves. Through surreal, cinematic imagery, Stay Tuned asks: when we are gone, what will our daily lives reveal - and who will be there to understand them?
Part broadcast from an imagined future, part reflection on our present lives, Stay Tuned continues Dukeminier’s investigation into the fragile imprint humanity leaves behind.
