Fused Glass Workshop

Join us for a fun and unique activity suitable for all ages, where you can craft fused glass art in various forms such as wall decorations, window pieces, bowls, plates, and more. Enjoy complimentary instruction and the first two hours on us! Simply pay for the size of your creation and any additional time. Fused glass entails arranging and layering colored glass pieces into designs, then heating them in a specialized kiln. Under the guidance of our experienced glass artist, discover the fundamental techniques of fused glass and experiment with vibrant colors to bring your vision to life. While you can't take your artwork home the same day, we do offer shipping options.

Wednesdays | 9:00 - 10:30 | Gentle & Slow Yoga class for 55+ men and women at the nearby Florida Grange. This is an ongoing class. Everyone is welcome! We focus on stretching, strengthening and balance while utilizing warmups, sun salutations and yoga poses. We will include breathwork, modifications and chair support in our yoga practice. Drawing Basics with Heidi Andringa

Thursdays | 4-week series | 5:30 - 7:30pm | Classes are June 13, 20, 27 Heidi grew up in Boulder, CO, spending her childhood drawing, painting and competing in mogul skiing alongside her brothers. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, double majoring in Art and Art History with a minor in Spanish. Heidi enjoys drawing detailed pencil portraits and creating colorful paintings on canvas and shoes in oil and acrylic.   In this course, Heidi will teach students to sketch and draw people, landscapes and still lives by breaking down these subjects into simple shapes to achieve accurate renderings. One class will feature a model. Throughout this course, students will learn and improve upon a variety of drawing skills, including proportion, and how to create a realistic art piece.

Nolan is an up-and-coming ceramic artist, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art K-12 Education as well as president of the Ceramics Club at Fort Lewis College. This summer he is interning with Lorna Meaden. Students will learn to work with clay, using foundational construction techniques with coils and slabs to handbuild amazing projects.
