Meet New Mexico sculptor Star Liana York at the opening reception for her solo show, “Mysteries from Lost Worlds and Forgotten Dreams.” The show features bronze figurative sculptures ranging in size from miniature to monumental, inspired by ancient cave paintings. York infuses her sculptures with the raw power, animal strength and mystic qualities expressed in the original cave paintings. Numerous new bronzes will be premiered at the show including a clay work in progress. The show continues through June.
