In this three-day intensive workshop, students will work on both drawing and painting, and the varieties and subtleties of animals and their habitats through demonstrations, discussion, critiquing and painting. Aldrich will also teach effective techniques for depicting fur and feathers while creating an illusion of form and solidity. Designed for the beginner to intermediate painters, the focus of the workshop will be on oil painting though any medium may be used.

Edward ‘Ned’ Aldrich has long been known and sought after for his ability to capture the life and breath of an animal on canvas.
