About Sandy Sandberg: Sandy was born and raised in the Chicago area, into a family dedicated to the teachings and practice of Christian Science. During his senior year of college, Sandy applied to the Chaplain Training Program at The Mother Church in Boston and served as a chaplain in the United States Army for ten years. Following his military service, and with a wife and two small children, Sandy entered into the full-time practice of Christian Science healing. He became a teacher of Christian Science in 1988 and has served The Mother Church as First Reader, on the Board of Education, and in several other positions over the past 40+ years. Sandy currently lives and teaches in the Boston area.
