Mercy Nutrition Therapy and The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado invite the public to attend “Hands-on Cooking on a Budget,” a FREE educational workshop. The interactive session will take place Tuesday, June 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the La Plata County Fairgrounds in Durango. Mercy nutrition experts will provide hands-on training as attendees prepare and cook a healthy, nutritious meal. The course will discuss various cooking methods to achieve optimal nutrition and flavor, as well as teach methods to exercise mindful eating and the benefits of incorporating this into one's daily life.
