Inspiring examples of moral courage fill the pages of the Bible. But what does it mean to have moral courage? And why is expressing moral courage so vital to the health and happiness of our lives, our ability to do good, and our practice of Christian Science? Kari Mashos, Christian Science practitioner, teacher, and lecturer, will be responding to your questions on this important topic.
Kari Mashos: Throughout Kari’s early career as a professional singer and, as a young mother raising a family, she found the practice of Christian Science with its convincing proofs of healing to be inspiring and strengthening. One night, as she was singing on the stage at Symphony Hall in Boston, she thought to herself, “I’d really rather be sharing spiritual truths with this audience.†Her desire to share the healing power of Christian Science naturally led her to devote her full time to healing as a Christian Science practitioner, and later to become a teacher of Christian Science.
Kari has served The Mother Church as Regional Manager for the Media Division of the Committee on Publication and is currently a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. She is a frequent contributor to the Christian Science periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor. Kari divides her time between Cape Neddick, Maine, and Athens, Greece.
