In this fun and interactive course we will use video, projects, discussion, games, role-play, etc. to help:
•Establish a personal mindfulness practice
•Understand the neuroscience behind mindfulness
•Learn a variety of effective conscious discipline techniques such as Connecting with your right brain, D.N.A, S.T.O.P., establishing a Safe Place, choices, etc.
•Brainstorm solutions to parenting challenges using the collective wisdom of such mindful parenting experts as Jon and Myla Kabat-Zinn, Dr. Dan Siegel, and Dr. Becky Bailey.
