Concertgoers are asked to bring their chairs or blankets, as seating will not be provided. Fired Up Pizzeria will offer food for sale at the park, but picnics are invited with non-alcoholic drinks.

In early spring of 2012, Mark Walters and Ruth Katzin began a collaboration that would result in the founding of the Southwest Civic Winds. Working together, they contacted people in their community and reached out to others in the four corners area forming a 57-member band composed of brass, woodwind, and percussion players.
