This course will introduce students to the foundational technologies used to build web pages and how these pages are served up by internet resources (HTTP servers). This foundational course is a required starting point for learning how web pages can be constructed statically and how JavaScript can dynamically modify the resultant document running in the web browser.

This course is designated as Learning Level 0 (LL0) and is appropriate for all levels of experience computer users and nothing is expected other than knowledge and experience with basic personal computing. The course is geared toward people with little or no experience with these technologies. Touch typing skills are very beneficial as much of the course the student will be creating small web pages by typing into a code editor. CAT will provide hardware for the student to use during the course
