On August 21st a total solar eclipse will cross the continental United States, from sea to sea, for the first time in 100 years. Join us at the Powerhouse Science Center, from 11am to 12:30pm, for a family-friendly Solar Eclipse Party to view this rare and exciting event! It will feature hands-on, high-wow solar eclipse related activities, knowledge from experts, viewing glasses, all the lunar temporary tattoos you could want, and a view of this once in a lifetime event. Kids, families, experts, professionals, amateurs, and astronomy enthusiasts alike come join us, on August 21st, as we witness the moon obscure 81.3 percent of the sun at 11:41am in our hometown.
