DESCRIPTION
Whether up close or on the side of the road, chances are you've seen elk frequently around Durango - you may have even stepped in their scat on a hike! Now you have a chance to 'walk a mile in their hooves' and see what the seasonal cycles are like in the life of this large mammal. DNS Naturalist Mike Bienkowski will lead the exploration of the Durango Nature Center, looking for signs of elk and having some fun along the way.

Free for members and kids under 12, $10 for non members
