This Family focused event will offer 4 activities for students aged 6 - 17 years old.

PUMKIN CARVING: Bring a pumpkin and we will show you some carving techniques to turn that pumpkin into a masterpiece! We will supply, carving tools, templates, candles, and have an instructor to help you along the way.

LIGHT UP LED PUMKIN: Learn how to make an electronic circuit that flashes like KITT from Knight Rider! You will be provided with everything you need to assemble the circuit and  our instructor will help you along the way! This activity is perfect for anyone who has some experience with a soldering iron and wants to develop their skills!

PAPER CIRCUIT: Lean how to make a simple electronic circuit using copper tape and LED's. This activity is perfect for anyone who has no previous electronic experience. We will provide everything you need as well as an instructor to help you along the way!

GLOW IN HTE DARK SLIME: Learn how to make some spooky glow in the dark slime! We will provide all the ingredients and an instructor to help you along the way!

Each activity cost $5 - $10 per person per activity. Spaces are limited, please arrive on time to avoid disappointment. The MakerLab is located on the Powerhouse Science Center campus, in-between the main gallery and fire station.
