Music in the Mountains will hold a reception celebrating the 2018 scholarship recipients, hosted by this year’s sponsor, Bank of Colorado. Refreshments and snacks will be available and entertainment will be provided by last year's 2017 scholarship recipients. We invite you to join us and recognize the up and coming musical talent of our local students.

The Music in the Mountains Private Lesson (9-12) and Shining Star Scholarships (K-8), sponsored by Bank of Colorado, help defray the cost of private music lessons for students in Durango and the surrounding areas who show interest towards a particular instrument and a desire to expand their musical knowledge. The scholarship will pay up to half the cost of each private lesson that the student takes.
