Women Outside Adventure Forum
Tue, March 27, 2018
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Backcountry Experience's third annual Women Outside Adventure Forum is returning to Durango. Our three-day forum features a lineup of empowering female athletes, writers, activists, filmmakers, scientists, and all-around adventurers and is open to women and men of all ages. This year's theme is Wild Places & Open Spaces. Our speakers will be discussing issues relating to the environment, public lands, conservation, climate change, and more.
Tuesday, March 27, 6-8 pm: High Country News and Outside Magazine writer Krista Langlois & Navajo/Dakota author Jacqueline Keeler. An avid rafter and explorer of wild places, Krista will discuss some of river journeys and delve into river health issues. Jacqueline recently edited a collection of essays and poems by Native writers about Bears Ears - she will offer a perspective rarely heard about conservation and Native lands. This event is FREE! Show up early to get the best seats.
