Backcountry Experience's third annual Women Outside Adventure Forum is returning to Durango. Our three-day forum features a lineup of empowering female athletes, writers, activists, filmmakers, scientists, and all-around adventurers and is open to women and men of all ages. This year's theme is Wild Places & Open Spaces. Our speakers will be discussing issues relating to the environment, public lands, conservation, climate change, and more. Wednesday, March 28, 6-8pm: Conservation filmmaker Jenny Nichols and tropical ecologist Dr. Jane Zelikova. Jenny will screen two of her most recent films and discuss the power of storytelling in conservation. We will also watch 'End of Snow' featuring Dr. Jane Zelikova, who will share insight into climate change on our western snowpack. This event is FREE! Show up early to get the best seats.
