Join Durango Nature Studies Naturalist Mike Bienkowski for our first snowshoe full-moon hike of the season on Wednesday, January 31st at Haviland Lake. This full moon is triply special -- a blue moon, super moon, and blood moon all rolled into one! Join us to find out the significance of these names while enjoying a leisurely two hour hike around snowy trails through a Ponderosa Pine forest. We will also do some animal tracking and will discuss the natural history of the site. Hot chocolate will be provided, and snowshoes will be available for a $5 rental, so come on out and dress warm!
