Once again, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is the proud sponsor of the Snowdown Durango Balloon Rally Mass Ascension on Saturday, Feb. 4. As part of the celebration, the D&SNGRR is offering guests the unique opportunity to ride the Snowdown Balloon Rally Train. This unique excursion will stop in the heart of the Animas Valley so passengers can see the dozens of balloons take off into the sky over Durango. After the balloons drift off or land, the train will continue on to Cascade Canyon for a short break before returning to Durango. More information is available at www.durangotrain.com.
