What could be more fun than golfing in your finest duds? Golfing in amped up SNOWDOWN form! Over the top costumes + golf make this event a SNOWDOWN favorite! Each hole is located in a different downtown establishment and IS created by some of the most talented golf hole designers in Durango. Meet at 11:30 AM, wearing your fanciest duds, to get scorecards and assignments for the shotgun start at NOON. Bring your own putter and golf ball. The Golfers are always a sight to behold as they amble through the streets of Durango. Spectators can catch a glimpse of the action at these locations: Carver’s Brewing, The Palace, The Irish Embassy, Balcony Backstage, The Diamond Belle, Lady Falconburgh’s, Steamworks, Joel’s, The Elks Lodge, Derailed Pour House, Moe’s Lounge, El Moro, Gazpacho’s, BREW Pub & Kitchen, The Red Snapper, Durango Craft Spirits, Wild Horse Saloon, Olde Tymers, El Rancho, Father’s Daughters Pizza, Cuckoos, Colorado Ponga’s, Fired Up Pizza & Ernie’s 11th Street Station. Must be 21+.
Event Cost: $75 per team
Event Deadline: Entry forms must be postmarked or dropped off at Animas Wine & Spirits by Friday, Jan 5. Entry form at www.SNOWDOWN.org or at Animas Wine & Spirits. Drawing is limited to 60 teams. Rules for drawing explained on entry form. Prizes: Best Hole, Best Caddy and Best Costume. The winning costume team is automatically eligible for the 2019 Tournament.
