“Mounds of the Lower Mississippi Valley” will be presented by Jessica Crawford at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College. This presentation will highlight some of the better known and extensively researched mound sites in the Lower Mississippi Valley states of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Jessica Crawford is Southeast Regional Director for The Archaeological Conservancy, a national non-profit organization dedicated to the identification and preservation of the country’s most significant archaeological sites.
