As a kick off to Women’s History Month in March, each year the Women’s Resource Center honors the outstanding achievements of women in La Plata County and the significant impact they’ve had on creating stronger women, girls, neighborhoods and communities. This year’s Women’s History Month theme is 'NEVERTHELESS SHE PERSISTED: Honoring Women Who Fight All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.' The event will feature a catered dinner, cash bar and silent auction prior to the awards ceremony. The annual dinner is made possible by generous sponsors.
