A #MeToo march and rally, in solidarity with all who have experienced sexual assault, harassment, and victimization, will take place on Saturday, February 17. Gather at 10:30 am at the Train Station. March up Main Street to Buckley Park at 11:00 am. An event for all, regardless of age, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political affiliation. Respect for individual rights is a cause about which all of us can unite in this era of divisive politics. If you can’t march the whole way, join us en-route or at Buckley Park. At Buckley Park, there will be several short rally speeches. Moderator Gail Harris, a retired Navy Captain, will provide opening and closing remarks and present action items. Two women students and physician Dr. Jude Law will provide individual outlooks. Various area women’s groups will be present with brochures and informational services. #MeToo march co-sponsors include the Women’s Resource Center and SASO/One Billion Rising.,
