Learn a Practical Approach to Painting an Awesome Landscape $125

Learn how to paint from a photo and create a feeling of the landscape that gives the painting life, instead of just copying a photograph. Explore in depth how to use drawing, color mixing and oil paint application to capture light and shadow; create a convincing sense of space; and depict trees, flowers and buildings.

Artists of all skill levels are encouraged to come and learn.

When: Saturday, June 23, 2018 10:00am – 4:00pm. Please arrive 20 minutes early so we have the full use of our time together.

Where: The Art Experience, 1550 Main Ave, Unit C, Durango, CO (next to Cantera Restaurant.)

What We Provide: 11×14 Canvas, professional instruction, and supporting materials.

What You Need to Bring: Paint, brushes, bag lunch and comfy clothes.
