As you are guided across the railyard past the roundhouse, the warehouse, the box cars and the museum, you will learn about the rich history of each... and where poltergeists are whispered to appear on nights such as these!

All of these structures have a story to tell- the tracks, the buildings and the landscape. Many mysterious happenings have occurred here over the 137 year history of the railroad. While you may pause to snap a photo of a train or railroad structure, be aware that you might not be alone! For as storied and as old as these structures may be, more than a few are thought to be haunted by the spectors of days long ago...haunted by the ghosts of Durango's past!

Special Considerations: These tours are intended for mature (18+) audiences. Younger guests are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Closed toe and closed back shoes are required on this tour. Participants will be walking about a mile over gravel and uneven terrain.

Ghost Crawl Itinerary: Tour begins at the train depot and then proceeds across the railroad grounds to the Warehouse, Box Cars, Car Shop, Turntable, Roundhouse, and ends at the Museum. Guests are then escorted back to the depot.
