The Durango Discovery Museum is hosting a Venus Transit viewing event on Tuesday June 5th from 4-8 pm. Solar telescopes will be set-up and guest speakers from Farmington and Fort Lewis will attend. The event is free, and includes drinks as well as music by local bands: The Weigh and Bacon. Transit viewing glasses are available for purchase at the Durango Discovery Museum giftshop.
