Join Durango Nature Studies for an hour of learning and exploration for our youngest naturalists, ages 3-5. Little ones like nothing better than exploring other little things, like bugs, plants, dirt, and rocks. We will teach them how to use their senses while exploring their natural world.

A DNS Naturalist will meet you and your kids at the Oppie Reames Nature Trail at Memorial Park for an hour of activities and nature exploration. No reservations are necessary, just show up. We plan to host Wee Walks as long as the air quality in Durango remains safe for young children.

Program Dates: Every Wednesday through August
Place: Oppie Reames Nature Trail @ 29th Street and 3rd Ave
Time: 10:00 – 11:00
Age: 3-5 yrs with an adult (older or younger siblings welcome to tag along)
Cost: $5 per child, free for members and adults
