Workshop: Pollinators and Native Plants
Sat, July 28, 2018
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Join Katya Spiecker, founder of Monarch Advocates of Central Oregon and Advocacy Coordinator with Great Old Broads for Wilderness, for an interactive presentation on pollinators, the native plants they rely on, and how you can participate in conservation efforts to help our little buzzing/crawling/flying friends. From what landscaping you choose, to how to keep a messy yard, to which citizen science efforts to join, Katya will explore the various ways we can make a difference for pollinators and why pollinator conservation is so important.
