Join us for the inaugural year the D&SNG will host this new event! Based on the hit PBS Kids Television series, Jim Henson's Dinosaur Trainâ„¢, you will meet Buddy, the loveable and curious T. rex and celebrate the fascination that children have with both dinosaurs and trains!

All agesPBS Kids are sure to enjoy this adventure-filled train ride with music, stories, Nature Trackers Club guidebook and Nature Trackers Adventure Area. You'll find fossil dig sites, dinosaur tracking, temporary tattoo station, music and other outdoor activities. For your convenience, there will be a food tent at the event area to purchase lunch, beverages and snacks.

This train will be pulled a historic, coal-fired, steam-powered narrow gauge locomotives! Your 2-1/2 hour adventure will leave and return at the Durango station. You will have approximately 1-1/2 hours at the play area.
Departure times are 10:00, 11:30 & 1:15.
