The Durango Arts Center is proud to coordinate the First Thursdays Art Walk, a program designed to promote artists and art activities beyond the traditional gallery walks conducted in the spring and fall. The First Thursdays gallery walk is a celebration of the arts in downtown Durango when galleries and other venues showing art open their doors on the first Thursday of each month to introduce new exhibits and artists. Participating in the program, which began June 7 and will continue through April 4, 2013, are the following: Galleries Earthen Vessel Gallery - Gallery 530 - Sorrel Sky Gallery - Toh-Atin Gallery - Wildshots Gallery Venues offering art - Eno - Rochester Hotel & Bar - Steaming Bean - Steve Gates Architect A guidebook is available at all locations.
