Mancos Brewing Company and Mancos Valley Resources present Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest on Saturday, August 18, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m at Cottonwood Park in Mancos. The annual festival benefits Mancos Valley Resources and its nonprofit community projects. Danceable music begins at 1 p.m., with back-to-back shows by the Fiery Furnace Marching Band, Stillhouse Junkies, Carute Roma, and the Afrobeatniks. Locally crafted beers, wines, and ciders will be available for sale, as will freshly prepared food. Kids' activities will be hosted by Painted Turtle Studio of Mancos. Dogs are welcome on leash. Adults $15 in advance, $20 at the gate. Students 13–18, $5. Kids free. Tickets are on sale now at various local merchants.
