Each Fall, Durango Nature Studies hosts more than 1,000 elementary and middle school students at the Nature Center, and we rely on community heroes - aka volunteers - to help lead students on nature hikes and deepen their knowledge of science and nature. Durango Nature Studies will kick off its fall training for new naturalists starting Wednesday, September 5 at 6pm at their offices in the Smiley Building.
