“Kilimanjaro: Climbing Africa’s Highest Peak When You’re Past Your Peak” will be the Lifelong Learning topic presented by Missy Rodey and Debby Malcom, on February 5, 2019, at 7:00 pm, Room 130, Noble Hall, Fort Lewis College. Missy climbed Kilimanjaro when she was 73. Debby made the trek at 64. Together, they will intertwine their separate experiences in an entertaining presentation which will include background about Africa’s highest mountain; the training needed to make the journey and decisions they made to reach the roof of Africa.
