The fourth annual Women Outside Adventure Forum by Backcountry Experience is coming to Durango this March! We're featuring badass women from around the country who are finding new ways to explore the outdoors. From National Geographic Adventurers to trailblazing thru-hikers, we're bringing you a healthy dose of inspiration, exploration, and motivation. All proceeds from this year's event benefit the San Juan Citizens Alliance.
This year's lineup includes:
Tuesday, March 19, 6-8:30pm, at the Powerhouse Science Center (Doors open at 5:30)
Adventurer Runner, La Sportiva and Osprey Packs athlete Kelly Halpin
Adventure writer Morgan Angela Tilton
(This event is free and open to the public. Show up early to grab a drink and a seat.)
Wednesday, March 20, 6-8:30pm, at the Powerhouse Science Center (Doors open at 5:30)

REEL ROCK 13 Climber and Outdoor Research athlete Madaleine Sorkin

Thursday, March 21, 6-8:30pm, at the Henry Strater Theatre (Doors open at 5:30)
US/Mexico Border Thru-Hikers Tenny Ostrem & Claire Wernstedt-Lynch
Join us for a special screening of 'Hike the Line,' a film about Tenny and Claire’s historic thru-hike of the US/Mexico border. Limited seats are available and tickets include 1 drink and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $30 and available online through Eventbrite. Proceeds benefit SJCA.)
