DESCRIPTION
Durango Nature Studies announces its fall Volunteer Naturalist Training for its Children Discovering Nature Program, teaching all 9R students in K-5th grade at the Nature Center during September and October. Training dates are: September 5, 6:00-8:30 pm at the Public Library September 7 & 8, 8:30 am-4:00 pm at the Nature Center Join Durango Nature Studies for our adult education program that teaches folks about the natural history of the area, as well as environmental education activities for kids in K-5th grade. Participants will receive a free 200 page manual and learn how to teach kids about the outdoors. This is a very popular program that connects lots of wonderful people with a field that they love.
